Not All Duct Cleaners Are The Same

When it comes to having our ducts cleaned we all want a good bargain.  But when it comes to our Farmingdale home and our own health; at what point do we sacrifice the quality of the service for a lower price tag?

We have many customers ask us why we are sometimes more expensive and to compare our Rotobrush system to the many other systems out there and all are amazed at the detail in which we answer them.

Homan & Homan will treat the home as if it was a human body and your Heating/Air Conditioning Systems ductwork is its lungs.  Everybody wants fresh air and a clean pair of lungs to breathe it in with.  If we do not treat our ducts in the same manner we will constantly breathe in whatever is inside our systems.

In the end they realize that Investment reflects Value

Here are a few key points about the equipment we use to service your home:

1) The Rotobrush is a self contained cleaning unit that cleans individual supply and return lines one at a time.

2) The soft bristle attachments and hoses come in an array of sizes to accommodate almost any size system.  These bristles will remove sediments that have built up over the years without the risk of damaging either the Hard or Soft ductwork of your system.

3) The vacuum is directly behind the brush, meaning that as the system scrubs the dust and debris away we suck it up at the source.

4) The unit will not put a strain on the entire duct system.  The “High Powered Vacuum Van” requires the capping of vents to try and suck the loose debris away.  The “Whip” cleaner gets tossed around the duct system to try and dislodge any sediments, however since it is not touching all of the ductwork many pieces are missed leaving dust behind.  If there were any inefficiencies in the duct system this pressure or constant knocking can make them much worse, becoming more costly to you for repairs later on.

5) The Rotobrush is a portable unit that is wheeled across drop clothes.  To go back to the Vacuum Van, this hose is dragged across the lawn and than into your home pulling in dirt, grass and other outside things you do not want in your home.  In addition your door may have to left open.  The Rotobrush allows you the Peace of Mind that your home will not be exposed while your ducts are being cleaned

6) We make sure to clean your supply and return grills.  There would be no reason to clean the ducts if the last part of where the air passes remains dirty on th e inside and out.  We remove the grills and hand wash them to make sure that when they are reinstalled, they are clean.

These are but a few of the differences of how our HVAC company differs from our competition when it comes to Duct Cleaning.
